WHY I ADDRESS THE OSHOFFA CHILDREN AS MY BROTHERS AND MY SISTERS…

After spending thirty-two years in the United States in ministerial training as led by the Almighty God, it was time for me to reveal my identity to the Celestial Church of Christ and narrate my story of what transpired in the month of March 28th and 29th, 1985 with Papa SBJ Oshoffa. I prayed and waited on the Lord for months before I set on this journey. Meanwhile, there was not a single clue to Mommy EDITH or Prophetess Blessing that I was coming  to Nigeria to present a book and a story that comprehensively addressed the issue of succession to the seat of the Pastor Founder. All I disclosed was I wanted to offer special thanks to God.

Below are few of my initial experience as I engaged in this new spiritual journey of faith.

On Sunday 9th of September 2018, I worshiped at Mommy’s Edith’s home church at Beulah Parish, Lagos Nigeria. While the Sunday morning  10am service was on, one Prophetess Blessing called me out to the mercy-land and gave the following message:

“What the world has worked to make hard, the Lord has made easy. I saw Papa SBJ Oshoffa on a throne, he had a notebook and wrote down your name in the list of the Oshoffa children. Your name has been taken from the list of Celestial members and added to that of Oshoffa’s children. Initially, we had the sign of “Celestian” on you, but now, we have turned it to the sign of Oshoffa.

Today the Glory has been changed to the Oshoffa Glory kind. Your power and anointing have been increased today. Henceforth, whatever you say shall be so and whatever you loose shall be loosed. Many have sought for this Glory given to you but did not receive it from me.

Today the angels that hold up the Celestial Church of Christ have descended…You have been given a new name; you have been recreated. You have been turned into the true child of Oshoffa. You have been endowed with the Glory of SBJ Oshoffa. They will envy you, but don’t be surprised and don’t be scared. Envy will come up, but God has given you the power that is above all powers to strengthen you. A unique gift has been given to you today by the Almighty God. Continue to thank God because God has empowered you. Also, it would be best if you continued to walk in the path of holiness. Envies will arise. However, whoever attempts to hurt you will hurt themselves. Just keep thanking God. God is with you and his peace is with you.”

That was the one and only message I received when I visited Mommy’s Edith’s Parish in September of 2018. When she listened to the message, she said the prophetess was one of the good and reliable ones in the Parish.

As a result of that genuine and unadulterated message, I now see myself as a family member of the Oshoffas. The first time I met with Supreme Evangelist JACOB Oshoffa I addressed him as Supreme. He shook his head and said no. He said we are “brothers” and I should address him as “My brother”. Throughout the period I was in Cotonou we addressed ourselves as “My brother.”  By the grace of God, I pray that my presence will usher a new era of agape love to the Celestial Church Family. WE MUST LOVE ONE ANOTHER AND TREAT ONE ANOTHER WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT. Hopefully, the love that is developing between myself and the Oshoffa family will soon spread into every fabric and nerve of CCC worldwide. TRUE AND GENUINE LOVE IS THE GLUE THAT MUST HOLD THE CELESTIAL CHURCH AS ONE INDIVISIBLE GLOBAL CHURCH.

We must learn to honor and respect our elders whether they are male or female. FEMALES DESERVE TO BE HONORED AND RESPECTED TOO. IN A MALE DOMINATED WORLD THE TENDENCY TO OPPRESS WOMEN IS HIGH BUT IN GOD’S KINGDOM THERE IS NEITHER GREEK NOR JEW, MALE OR FEMALE. WE ARE ALL GOD’S CHILDREN CREATED IN THE LIKENESS AND IN THE IMAGE OF GOD. LOVE IS WHAT RULES IN GOD’S KINGDOM NOT GENDER OR TITLES OR LONG FLOWING AND COLORFUL ROBES.

When Christ was on earth he had twelve disciples but among the twelve he had three that were closer to him than the others: Peter, James and John. Peter he made the head of the global Church, James was the head of the Church in Jerusalem and John he addressed as “the beloved Apostle” and blessed him with uncommon visions of heaven called the book of Revelation. God always has a reason for grafting people into the inner circle.
