I have discovered that the root of the leadership crisis in the Celestial Church of Christ is a chronic and fundamental deficiency in the understanding and application of God’s word in scripture. We claim to belong to Christ in theory, but in practice, we have not paid careful attention to the teachings of Christ in the bible. Section 116 (B) of the 1980 CCC Constitution states that members are under the oath of allegiance to the total commitment to impart the teachings of Christ based on the Holy Bible. I noticed that we have not always looked for answers from scriptures in conflict resolutions neither have we obeyed simple instructions given by Prophet SBJ Oshoffa. Instead, we seem to be quick to rush to the courts before we even look at scriptures. The word of God is designed to teach us how to behave towards one another.

Please let us be open minded to this great and new development. If in doubt, please pray and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal the truth to you. Until you hear from God on your own please hold your judgement to yourself. Let us focus more on the positives of this news than whipping up sentiments with negative criticisms that have no solid foundation.  Let us avoid loose talks and not rush into judgment. Let us understand that Celestial Church of Christ belongs to God and not any individual. Pay close attention to all the good in this story instead of fishing out for dirts that are non-existent.

Let us have reasonable and Godly expectations and avoid spiritual fantasy and unbridled hallucinations.

Remember William Shakespeare: “All the world’s a stage, and all men and women merely players: they have their exits and their entrances; and one man in his time plays many parts, his acts being seven ages.” Let us remember that true leadership is sacrificial service and not rosy rosy as some think. Let us avoid playing God. Let us avoid trying to teach God how to run his church.

Remember Joseph: “Joseph said to them, “Do not be afraid, for am I in the place of God? But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive. Now therefore, do not be afraid; I will provide for you and your little ones.” And he comforted them and spoke kindly to them.”

I am different in many respects:

1. I never declared myself the successor or paraded myself in colorful robes as most have done.
2. I shared dreams and prophecies with the Pastor Founder about succession on Thursday, March 28^th, 1985 and he commented that I was telling the truth. The next day Friday March 29th he laid hands on my head as Moses laid hands on Joshua. He asked me to ask for what I needed from God, and to hold his garment while asking. In a similar manner, Elijah asked Elisha what he wanted. Within six months of that encounter he was called home to be with the Lord. No one else had this specific encounter with the Founder.
3. We have written over 381 pages under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit as acts of the Holy Spirit and evidence of how the Holy Spirit had chosen me for the call. No one else had the boldness and the courage to write a book and explain how they were chosen as successor.
4. On September 29th, 1985 the same day the Church turned 38years, I had a dream and the Holy Spirit spoke verbally to me saying: “the Lord is choosing you to be the head of his Church.” No one could lay claim to this specific interaction with the Holy Spirit the day the Church turned 38years old.
5. My encounter with Papa SBJO Oshoffa satisfied 100% of the 1980 CCC Constitution and His will as expressed on Ogun state television while discussing with a journalist about his successor. No one else could claim that.
6. I have meticulously followed spiritual protocol by giving the family and the leadership of the Church the privilege to read our book, examine everything written, invite me for questioning and thorough scrutiny, pray and seek the guidance of the Holy Spirit with regard to this very sensitive spiritual issue. I did all these as a mark of respect and in line with spiritual principle to fulfill all righteousness.
7. And many more confirmations from several independent sources…

Our Lord and Savior also said the same thing in scriptures that believers will perform greater works than he did. A majority of the prophecies given to me confirm what Papa said. I know for sure that His words and promises are yes and Amen. The anointing is already manifesting in many ways. Everywhere I go people are experiencing the wonders of God.

However, everyone of us must have faith in the promises of God. All I can say at this point is that within the first year of my ascension to the seat, God willing, the church will experience more miracles than they have seen in 34 years since the transition of the Founder.

For thirty-three years I have been silent because the Holy Spirit said I should keep quiet. But now the same Holy Spirit has commanded that I share my story, for the time has come for a change in leadership. It is the Holy Spirit that has instructed that the appointed time for the Mantle-Carrying Successor to Papa SBJ Oshoffa has finally come. The appointed time for Papa Oshoffa’s prophecy to be fulfilled is now here.

For now, the greatest miracle as it relates to succession, in my opinion, is that we are witnessing the fulfillment of Papa’s prophecy about his true successor as he stated over 34 years ago. All the plans of the devil and his agents to stop the prophecy from manifesting have failed. Now everyone should get ready to witness the multiplicity of Papa’s anointing as he prophesied. Remember that Baba General Obasanjo had warned that we should not play with Papa Oshoffa’s words. I am sure the General will definitely be smiling now.

The Holy Spirit instructed me to be patient and persevere with my ministerial training. Of course, God has his own reasons for whatever he does, but a cynical person might infer that during this period, many, including some in the hierarchy, were determined to hijack power by all means.

I am glad God brought me over to the United States for more training. No regrets at all.

This is a non-issue because God is sovereign and could choose the leader of his church from anywhere in the world. I was led by God to start the Church, it was not my idea. It was God’s idea for reasons best known to him. As the last ship of salvation to cleanse the world, Celestial Church will impact every area of the planet. We cannot limit the influence of the church to just one area. We must try to think out of the box. The ways of God are mysterious according to a popular and very powerful Celestial song.

I have been a member of the Celestial Church of Christ since 1976 till date, temporarily in diaspora due to the leadership tussle, but have always been a member. Not just a member but was a shepherd in charge of Uniben Parish, Benin City from where I left to come to the United States for ministerial training. Uniben Parish, the church we started 35 years ago is still alive and well and has evolved into a very strong Celestial church students Parish with several alumni still very involved with the work. At least a hundred of them still meet every Sunday for worship and recently bought a beautiful piece of land for millions of Naira.

We started Christ the King Miracle Church as directed by the Holy Spirit as part of my ministerial training in preparation for the future leadership task. I have learnt not to teach God how to prepare his chosen ones for a specific call. God is wiser and smarter than all 7 billion plus people on planet, combined. The Pastor Founder during his live interview said it all:

“It is the Holy Spirit that will choose the one who will sit on my seat. The one to sit (in my position) maybe someone who had only joined the church six years earlier, or five years earlier, or twenty years earlier. It is the Spirit of God, who descended this church, that will choose who will take the seat. Whoever was there before, will stay in his place, but the one chosen by the Spirit of God is the one to whom they will all be bowing down. He is the one…He (the Holy-Spirit-chosen successor) may be one of my children; he may be a white person; he may be from America. Wherever God chooses from, (the chosen one) is whom we shall accept.”

A NEW PASTOR SHALL EMERGE: COULD THIS BE TRUE?

I SAW THIS MESSAGE ON SATURDAY THE 22ND OF DECEMBER 2018 ON THE WEB PAGE OF CELESTIAL NEWS ONLINE, I DECIDED TO ADD IT TO THIS BOOK BECAUSE I CONSIDERED IT TO BE VERY SIGNIFICANT AND ACCURATE.

Could this revelation that a new Pastor that will oversee the affairs of our church worldwide has been divinely ordained be true? It also states that the leaders and elders of the church should start making preparation for the coming of this new blood that has not stained himself in any form of nefarious acts. How soon is this coming to pass after about 34 years of the revelation of his emergence? When? Where? How? It will surely be a new dawn for us in Celestial Church of Christ.

The spiritual message which a source confirmed was given by Superior Evangelist Oluwatomisin Olugbebi Ehuwaojomo, the Shepherd-in-Charge of SBJ Parish, Wasimi, Abeokuta, Ogun State, gave a narration about the events which will lead to his ascension as the Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Church.

“This is a mystery, I saw a church that was given birth to in the wilderness and it was descended with a crown and a King; the church and that king were in the wilderness, it is this church that became the king of Celestial Church. It was given birth to in a day and it became the ‘king’ on that same day. “The baby boy wasn’t given birth to or delivered by anyone, no one knew when he was born. All rulers in Celestial Church must be prepared for that king of righteousness that is about to reign, all those who believe shall dine with him but those who doubt shall die.” the message read in part.

Also, the spiritual message advised Shepherds to offer thanksgiving to God with a Cross in the month of September, which is the month the Church would attain the age of 70 years. “In the 9th month [September] all shepherds must offer Thanksgiving with a Cross, each parish in Celestial must take part in the same Thanksgiving.” the message says.

Dear Celestial Church members, I will quickly take you to the book of Habakkuk 2: 3” For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”

MY INTERPRETATION OF THE ABOVE MESSAGE:

Below are the few main events that point to the fact that a genuine successor to SBJ Oshoffa has truly emerged as predicted by the Prophet. “For thus says the LORD: After seventy years are completed at Babylon, I will visit you and perform My good word toward you and cause you to return to this place.” (Jeremiah 29: 10 NKJV),

The number seventy is significant in biblical numerology. After 70 years of Babylonian captivity, God visited the Jews and performed his good word towards them. Likewise, after Celestial Church of Christ turned 70years God decided to give an important message that promised the emergence of a New Pastor with a mysterious and specific description as clear as sunlight.

The only reason I could interpret this message was because it relates directly to what I know God had already begun. This message is very accurate because a year after this message was given, I officially presented myself as the Holy Spirit chosen successor to the Pastor Founder in book format. I only saw this message for the first time on December 22nd, 2018. This book titled SBJ OSHOFFA VINDICATED was presented to Mommy Edith Oshoffa on Sunday the 9th September 2018 during the 10am Sunday morning service.

The church in the wilderness referred to in the prophecy was Christ the King Miracle Church in Tulsa Oklahoma and Michigan, an independent Christian church with no affiliation or ties to any other. When we started the Church, it was revealed by the Spirit through Dr. Emmanuel Ayorinde that I should not use the title Founder because the church is a continuation of the Celestial Church of Christ but set up by God for a specific purpose. In the Celestial Church you can only have one Founder. As a result, I became the Presiding Overseer of Christ the King Miracle Church and not the Founder. Christ the King Miracle Church was in the wilderness in the sense that even though it was started by me the candidate successor to SBJO it was hidden from all other Celestial Churches. Wilderness is a figurative expression of challenges and isolation. This confirms the message given by Prophetess Ibitoye at Imeko on August 11th, 2017 that, “It was as if you have been forgotten by the world where you are right now, but the Lord remembered you and promoted you.” Compare this to Joseph, even though God planned to make him Prime Minister of Egypt, he had to endure a wilderness experience in jail. What is the relationship between jail and the position of Prime Minister? Now you can see why the Prophet called the message about the church in the wilderness a MYSTERY.

This Church was started only after Papa SBJO appeared to me in a dream on Saturday, March 15th, 1997 with six other elders, making a total of seven and bestowed on me all the powers he received from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The king and the crown in the prophecy represent the fact that Papa SBJO had already laid hands on me as his successor before the Holy Spirit directed me to start this church. The king and the crown could also be clearly reflected in Christ the King Miracle Church as spelt out by its name.

Remember the prayer I prayed when Papa asked me to hold his robe on Friday March 29th, 1985 and ask for what I wanted, and the Holy Spirit led me to say this prayer: “God grant me the same power, crown, and anointing that you gave to Papa and just as you placed him on the throne and stood by him, do the same for me.”

A perfect biblical example shows that David was technically a king the moment Samuel anointed him king, but it took years before he was officially coronated. David went through an extensive wilderness experience as well. The wilderness meant Christ the King Miracle Church was isolated from all the Celestial Churches, as designed by the God of SBJ Oshoffa to hide and shelter me from all the leadership tussles in CCC so as not to be part of the infighting and rampant deception that had plagued the church for 33years. It was also to hide his future plan for the Celestial Church, so no one could understand until the arrival of the appointed time, which from all indications is NOW.

Since Christ the King Miracle Church was started by me, a candidate successor to the Pastor-Founder, technically or metaphorically it becomes King of all Celestial Churches as stated by the Prophet in the message delivered when the Celestial Church turned 70. The fact that the church was given birth to in a day and in a day became a king paints a picture of Godly wonder and rapid acceleration. Figuratively the mystery is that the isolated Church in the wilderness has suddenly or metaphorically become the king of all Celestial Churches by God’s design and plan. That is divine acceleration. That is a classic example of another miracle by the God of Papa SBJ Oshoffa.

The baby boy as prophesied by the prophet is not a biological child but a metaphor for “God’s idea of the successor”, hence the explanation that no one knows when the idea or baby boy was born. (Godly ideas have life like a baby and they can develop). That is so true because such secrets belong to God alone. There is no human being who can figure out the birthday of God’s idea. Hence the prophet stated that “the baby boy wasn’t given birth to or delivered by anyone, no one knew when he was born.” The idea of a successor to the Pastor Founder was God’s idea not man’s idea. However, this new successor according to the prophet will reign in righteousness and all Celestians should be prepared to receive him. Those who dine with him–that is metaphor for acceptance will live and those who reject him will die according to the prophet.

The Prophet also instructed that all shepherds of CCC should offer thanks with a cross in the month of September. I doubt if that ever happened. However, on the 23rd of September 2018 that message was indirectly fulfilled at Beulah Parish, Ajah-lekki, Lagos, Nigeria. Mommy Edith Oshoffa had a majority of the representatives of all the factions in Celestial Church present during the Adult Harvest Thanksgiving of her parish, at Ajah, Lekki Nigeria and they all joined her to offer thanks with the special cross which was the cross I purchased for the special thanks offering as directed by the Holy Spirit.

THE STORY OF THE CROSS:

A few days before my departure to the United States, Prophet Greg Udi who happened to be with me during this visit came to me in the morning and said he had a dream. In the dream they told him that I had done everything required of me during the trip except for one thing, the CROSS. According to him, the Spirit said I must offer a special thanks with a cross. Since there was not enough time left before my departure, I went that very day to Beulah Parish to ask the shepherd in charge for where to purchase a good cross. He said the best place to get the cross would be at Ketu. While the discussion was going on, Mommy Edith walked in. Once I explained the situation to her she immediately volunteered that she would do the thanks offering with the cross on my behalf. I was truly grateful for her gesture. I gave them the money for the cross and left for the United States. There goes the sign of the cross and each Parish been represented in God’s own way, in the ninth month of September. To God be all the Glory. So the message about the mystery church in the wilderness, God’s idea of a successor, the righteous reign of the truly ordained Pastor, and the cross for thanksgiving in the ninth month of September, all point

to the clear fulfillment and confirmation of the message that a new Pastor would emerge. You can see that God sees the end from the beginning and he is truly a master planner and the architect of all ages. The message is as specific as it can be. To God alone be all the Glory. It is also interesting to note that Mr. Michael Alonge quoted Habakkuk 2: 3 at the end of the message. I am pretty sure Mr. Michael had not seen the book, but that was the same scripture I quoted at the beginning of the book.

Paul advises that it is not proper for believers to take each other to court. The simple reason for that is because it demeans the integrity of the church, the Holy Spirit and God the Father.

To be chosen by the Holy Spirit means the candidate successor is the only one chosen by God to bring the Celestial Church of Christ to the promised land of Signs, Wonders and Miracles, a land flowing with milk and honey.

David defeated Goliath because he was God’s choice. Moses delivered the children of Israel out of Egypt because he was God’s choice. Christ was able to rise from the grave because he was God’s choice. Solomon became extremely wealthy and full of wisdom because he was God’s choice. The reason why the Celestial Church has not experienced the greater-than-Oshoffa manifestation is because none of the successors so far meets the standard of the 1980 CCC constitution.

They should pray to God with an open mind and God will reveal the truth to them.

The only way you can tell is to pray and ask God to open your spiritual eyes and reveal the truth to you.

A “lacuna” technically means a missing part. In some of the court judgements in cases involving some aspiring successors, the courts had referred to the existence of a lacuna because the Founder SBJO, apparently did not name and proclaim a successor before his transition

The reason why the Supreme Court said there was a lacuna was because none of those claiming to be Pastors could provide any concrete information that they were chosen by the Holy Spirit to succeed the Pastor Founder or provide any solid proof. For the first time we are able to provide that information with solid material and spiritual evidence. Moreover, believers were advised from going to court because we are spiritual, and the courts are secular. Issues of the Spirit must be addressed according to the Spirit of the law, not just the letter of the law alone.

An article posted by CNO sometime ago, answers this question very well:

“Even if 400 hundred people have declared themselves Successors to SBJO there are several ways to get to the truth through the process of elimination.

1. Anyone who does not fulfill the requirements of the 1980 CCC Constitution and Papa’s recorded will is out.
2. All self-proclaimed Pastors are out because that violates the biblical standard.
3. Anyone who does not have specific physical encounter regarding succession with the Founder is out.

Just these three steps above could easily lead to the truth. Nothing is complex about the truth. It will be very foolish to say because we have lots of counterfeit dollars then we cannot figure out the genuine OR to say because we have lots of fake Gold then we cannot figure our genuine Gold.”

People who say it’s impossible to discern the genuine from the fake is because they have their own agenda and are biblically and spiritually ignorant. There is nothing complex at all in distinguishing falsehood from the truth. Just because you don’t understand how to solve a problem does not mean that the problem cannot be solved by those who are trained to solve it.  And just because you decide to live in denial does not change the truth. The truth will forever remain the truth and withstand all sorts of scrutiny. But falsehood will disappear as fast as butter melts in a hot fry pan.

It is not true. It depends on interpretation. Actually, he did, but not in the way several people expected it to happen.

First, let me be very clear that Papa SBJO met face to face with his successor, he knew him, interacted with him, recognized him, confirmed him as successor and followed biblical principles on how to transfer power. POWER WAS TRULY TRANSFERRED. Six months after this meeting he was called home to be with the Lord. To name and proclaim is a small part of the big picture, it is not the big picture. The big picture was to identify the successor as revealed by God and then transfer the power according to scripture, which he did.

Everything Papa Oshoffa wrote in the 1980 CCC constitution concerning his successor is scripturally and doctrinally sound. Everything he stated has precedent in the bible, and there was no mistake, failure or gap made.

You probably have heard about the “lacuna” in the 1980 CCC constitution. What they are saying is that Papa SBJO did not name and proclaim a successor before he transitioned. That is not totally true, because he did, but not in accordance with our expectations or interpretations.

Unfortunately, those that appeared before the court did not have enough evidence to show that they were chosen by the Holy Spirit and ordained by Papa SBJO, that is why the court declared a “lacuna”. but now that the evidence is present with many convincing proofs, the issue of lacuna is dead and gone for ever.

IF BY NAMING AND PROCLAIMING, YOU ARE ASKING IF PAPA SBJO ORDAINED A SUCCESSOR BEFORE HE TRANSITIONED. YES, HE DID BUT NOT IN THE MANNER THAT MOST OF US EXPECTED.  ALSO, THERE IS NOTHING IN THE CONSTITUTION THAT SAYS THAT THE PASTOR FOUNDER MUST REVEAL OR DISCLOSE HIS SUCCESSOR TO ANYONE. HE HAD THE RIGHT TO KEEP THAT INFORMATION TO HIMSELF, WHICH I BELIEVE HE DID FOR REASONS BEST KNOWN TO GOD AND HIM. RELIABLE SOURCES SAID HE DIED TWO YEARS EARLIER THAN EXPECTED. COULD IT BE THAT HE WAS WAITING TO GET CLOSER TO THE PREDICTED TIME OF DEPARTURE BEFORE NAMING AND PROCLAIMING? WE DON’T KNOW. ONLY GOD KNOWS. WHATEVER IT WAS GOD’S TIME IS ALWAYS THE BEST.

ON THE OTHER HAND, IF BY NAMING AND PROCLAIMING YOU ARE ASKING IF PAPA SBJO ANNOUNCED HIS SUCCESSOR TO THE WHOLE WORLD. NO, HE DID NOT AND PART OF THE REASON FOR THAT WAS BECAUSE THE CONSTITUTION SAID THAT IT WILL BE DONE AT A TIME CHOSEN BY GOD.

Biblical precedents show that most messengers of God were called and anointed in private. Moses was called in private, God called Abraham in private, Isaac laid hands on Jacob in private, Samuel anointed David in private, Elisha received the anointing from Elijah in private. therefore, the passing on of mantles and the transfer of spiritual power are strictly between God and his messengers. However, naming and proclaiming (public announcement) may be done in public at anytime chosen by God).

It is the nature of God to create situations that would stretch our Faith. When Moses was called many did not believe him, but God was with him. When Jesus was called many did not believe him, but God was with him. I don’t expect everyone to believe me but those that do will begin to experience his goodness on a new level.

THERE IS A THREE STEP PROCESS INVOLVED HERE:

1. RECOGNITION AND ACCEPTANCE OF THE SUCCESSOR BY THE PASTOR-FOUNDER. THIS HAPPENED ON THURSDAY 28TH, MARCH 1985.
2. TRANSFER OF POWER TO THE SUCCESSOR BY THE PASTOR-FOUNDER. THIS HAPPENED ON FRIDAY THE 29TH OF MARCH 1985.
3. NAMING AND PROCLAIMING TO BE DONE AT A TIME CHOSEN BY GOD. THE CONSTITUTION SAID AT A TIME CHOSEN BY GOD. A TIME CHOSEN BY GOD COULD WELL BE WHEN THE PASTOR WAS ALIVE OR WHEN HE HAD TRANSITIONED. WE USUALLY ASSUME THAT IT WOULD BE WHEN HE WAS ALIVE. THAT IS OUR ASSUMPTION, THE CONSTITUTION WAS SILENT ON SPECIFICS. WHEN THE TIME CHOSEN BY GOD COMES THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD WHO IS OUR HELPER AND DIRECTOR, WILL GIVE DIRECTIVES ON HOW TO IMPLEMENT THAT.

From the above explanation you can see that the only reason why I am able to solve this succession issue was because I had a personal contact with the Pastor Founder about succession.

First things first. You can only name and proclaim someone who has been ordained and empowered to occupy a particular position. The most important first step is the recognition and the acceptance and the transfer of power by the Pastor Founder to his successor after it was revealed to him.

A perfect scriptural example was King David. He was anointed to be king when he was a teenager, but he was named and proclaimed king when he turned 30 years old at Hebron. What Papa SBJ did is very scriptural and we have precedent in the Bible.

If we interpret what he said in the constitution according to the spirit of the law and not according to the letter of the law alone, you will notice that he was theologically and biblically okay. Do you know that it is an abomination and heresy to change the word of God deliberately to accommodate our agenda?

For instance, you can see that changing the requirements of the constitution to make it easy to hand pick successors had caused the Celestial Church so much pain, organizational injury and perhaps led to few untimely deaths. Unfortunately, some people tend to see what was “wrong” with section 111 of the 1980 CCC CONSTITUTION but ignore all that was right with that section.

THERE IS NO CONFLICT AT ALL. Rev. Emmanuel Oshoffa is presently the “place-holder” head of the Celestial Church of Christ, worldwide, but not the direct Mantle-endowed successor to Papa SBJO as stated in the 1980 CCC constitution. That is why he could not effect any changes in the constitution. A genuine successor to SBJ Oshoffa should have the power to implement changes to the 1980 CCC constitution without any problem. THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS THAT THE SEAT OF THE PASTOR BASED ON THE 1980 CCC CONSTITUTION IS VACANT. NOBODY IS PRESENTLY OCCUPYING THAT SEAT BECAUSE NONE OF THEM COULD MEET THE REQUIREMENTS AS STATED IN THE 1980 CCC CONSTITUTION.

I see Rev. Mobiyina as our big Daddy. He was placed in that position to head the Church as a temporary solution to the leadership crisis that was tearing the Church apart. Initially he refused the offer, but they insisted that he could not reject. He accepted to carry the cross to save the Church from total collapse. For that we should all be grateful.

I have never heard him claim at any point that he inherited the powers of the Founder. He did not have any contact with the Pastor Founder regarding succession.  It is not a secret that Mommy Edith Oshoffa bonded more with their Dad than most of the children. If there is anybody that understood what Papa said about succession before his transition, it would be Mommy Edith Oshoffa.

Moses laid hands on Joshua as his successor. Baba Mobiyina did not tell anyone that Papa Oshoffa laid hands on him to succeed the Founder. Elisha received the mantle from Elijah. Baba EMF HAS NEVER TOLD ANYONE THAT HE INHERITED THE MANTLE OF POWER FROM HIS DAD. Christ told Peter that flesh and blood did not reveal this to you but my Father in heaven. Baba Mobiyina has never mentioned to anyone that he had meaningful encounter with the Founder regarding succession.

All that he said was that the Holy Spirit chose him to head the Church by divine authority of the Pastor-in-Council and the “Electoral college” and by messages given by dozens of prophets and prophetesses. I don’t see anything wrong with that except that it is a new and temporary way of trying to solve a complex spiritual dilemma. Heading the Church is not the same as receiving the mantle of power and divine authority from Papa SBJO to walk in the shoes of the Founder. Those are two totally different things. Hear what Papa said during his live interview (freely available on the internet and on this website):

“It is the Spirit of God, who descended this church, that will choose who will take the seat. Whoever was there before, will stay in his place, but the one chosen by the Spirit of God is the one to whom they will all be bowing down. He is the one.”

Papa’s prophetic statement above clearly distinguished Head of Church from Mantle-Empowered Successor to the Founder. Both may be chosen by the Holy Spirit, but their tasks may be very different. It was as if the Founder knew what would happen down the road. He said when that time comes whoever was there would still retain their seat (as Emeritus Head) [“EMERITUS” MEANS “FORMER” “RETIRED BUT ALLOWED TO RETAIN THEIR FORMER TITLE, AS A MARK OF HONOR”] but all should submit to the Mantle- Empowered Successor.

Baba Mobiyina has never claimed to the best of my knowledge that he fulfilled the requirements of the 1980 CCC Constitution. He was put there by Church leadership to stop the bleeding of the Church. His mission to this point is complete and we thank God for all he has done for the church despite his physical challenges. Now is the time for Change and the fulfillment of all of God’s promises for the Celestial Church of Christ. Let us all unite to move this great Church forward. The time is NOW.
